Calling all Girl Dancers: Girl's Nation Dance Battle Has Been Ignited

Together with NTU, NUS, SMU and Studio Wu, Funkygrad.com is organising the augural Girl's Nation Dance Battle, a MTV-style, Girl's hip hop dance competition which will uncover the diva with outstanding showmanship, style and attitude among the tertiary student community. Especially produced for tertiary students, the month-long event will see teams of 2-6 girls battle it out at campus competitions held in NUS & NTU before the top 3 teams from each school converge at the finale battle arena to vie for ultimate recognition as the Dance Battle Divas.
The winning team receives S$3000 in cash and the Diva (Best Girl Dancer) receives S$500 cash and other prizes.The competition schedule is as follows: Dance Battle @ NTU : 23 Aug 2006 (Wed) at NTU Nanyang Auditorium Foyer Dance Battle @ NUS : 24 Aug 2006 (Thurs) at NUS Central Forum Dance Battle @ Funan : 26 Aug 2006 (Sat) at Funan Digitalife Mall (For SMU, SIM & Polytechnic Teams) Final Showdown @ Zouk - 16 Sept (Sat)

Girl's Nation Dance Battle is a MTV-style, Girl's hip hop dance competition which will uncover the diva with outstanding showmanship, style and attitude among the tertiary student community. The event is open to all tertiary students from 18 to 25 years old. Groups of 2-6 girls can form teams to take part. The winning team receives S$3000 in cash while The Diva (Best Girl Dancer) receives S$500 cash and other prizes.
